Job Description

Position: MEP Assistant Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. MEP Operations & Maintenance

Supervise operation and maintenance of
HVAC, electrical panels, DG sets, UPS, plumbing, and fire safety systems
.
Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure uninterrupted store operations.
Troubleshoot MEP-related issues and coordinate for quick resolution.

2. Project Coordination

Assist in MEP planning for new store projects, renovations, and fit-outs.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure timely execution of MEP works.
Review MEP drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.

3. Vendor & Contractor Management

Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with MEP service vendors.
Ensure adherence to SLAs and company standards.
Review vendor bills and verify work completion.

4. Compliance & Safety

Ensure all MEP systems comply with
statutory, environmental, and safety norms
.
Maintain documentation for inspections, audits, and certifications
Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices.

5. Budgeting & Reporting

Assist in MEP maintenance budgeting and cost control.
Prepare periodic reports on MEP performance, breakdown analysis, and energy consumption.
