Mep Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Review and interpret MEP drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs.
• Coordinate and supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems on-site.
• Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and project managers to integrate MEP works with overall construction activities.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure quality control and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
• Prepare project reports, materials submittals, method statements, and documentation for approvals.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors related to MEP systems and ensure timely execution.
• Troubleshoot MEP issues and provide technical solutions during execution.
• Ensure adherence to national and international codes such as NBC, IS codes, and other relevant standards.
• Plan and schedule MEP activities to align with overall project timelines.
• Participate in value engineering exercises to optimize cost and efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification:

• Experience:

  2 to 3 years in the MEP field (especially in building construction, commercial, or solar EPC projects)
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Project, and relevant software
• Familiar with IS codes, IEC standards, and energy efficiency systems
