Description
You are a highly skilled MEP Subject Matter Expert sought after to join the CBRE Design Collective Team India. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing MEP design inputs for various asset classes, ensuring that projects meet industry standards, enhance energy efficiency, and comply with building codes. Your deep understanding of MEP systems design will be pivotal in the successful execution of projects. Your responsibilities include representing Design Collective to clients, contractors, and project managers, coordinating MEP and building services design within project constraints, leading multi-disciplinary design teams, and managing budgets and programming. You will need strong communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders, explain designs, and provide guidance to the design team. Commercial awareness and the ability to administer Change Control are also key aspects of this role. As the MEP Design Lead, you will lead a team of MEP Engineers, provide technical guidance on MEP systems design, ensure compliance with building codes and regulations, conduct technical reviews, and contribute to quality assurance by reviewing project documentation and participating in site visits. It is essential to stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in MEP systems design and share knowledge with team members. To excel in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred), a minimum of 15 years of experience in MEP systems design, proficiency in MEP design software and tools, exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a keen eye for detail and quality.
