MEP - Design Head

Job Description

1. Purpose (Describe why this position exists in the company or what unique value does this position add to the company)1.To lead and oversee MEP Design all projects by collaborating, engaging, and directing the Consultants, Internal stack holders and Contractors. 2.Act as the point of contact in the Design & Engineering team to interface internally and externally on all issues related with MEP project design guidelines, audit, assisting in execution and delivery. 3.Must be able to lead a MEP team to complete tasks within established project schedule and budget constraints. 2. Role Description (List down 10 (max) discrete jobs in the order of priority) Applicable SOP Overall is responsible for developing and design detailed engineering activities. Provides technical advice/input relevant to MEP systems. Prepares engineering reports, budgets, tender documents, cost estimates and assists in the evaluation of proposalQSP DCP 02 01 Plans, assigns, supervises, and reviews MEP-Design for planning, designing, cost estimating.Attends pre-construction meetings with internal stakeholders, consultants ,Vendors etc.& interact with them to develop requirement-specific solutions.GL DCP 02 01 001 Interact with Technical Consultant to ensure design achievability. Initiate new ideas and innovation of research and design. Responsible for delivering MEP solutions to engineering queries and requests from internal/external stakeholders of the Company QSP DCP 05 01Ensures that the RFPs for each project are clearly documented and communicated to appropriate personnel in keeping with the approved procedures. Assists in developing Schedules and Milestones towards achieving the end date of assigned projects and submits for approval QSP DCP 02 01 Health & Safety Leads Cost & Budget Management and provides oversight and guidance relevant to cost estimates MEP systems . Ensures adherence to quality control, monitoring compliance with building and safety codes and relevant regulations QSF DCP 05 01 001Leadership level for self-competence and team training. Ensure to provide quality design and on-time delivery. Prepare design tools and methods competence and implement good design practices.QSP DCP 05 01Need to give MEP inputs & Assumptions on TDD stage for Design & Costing QSP DCP 01 01
