Role: Mental Health Professional, Kurla, Mumbai

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and manage a Child Guidance Clinic within institutions and Youth Community Centers to serve as a safe space for children.
• Conduct individual counseling, group sessions, and therapy-based interventions with children, youth, and their families. Administer psychological assessments as needed.
• Submit counseling reports to the Child Welfare Committee and Juvenile Justice Board as required.
• Identify and support children and youth who require special attention and care.
• Work closely with institutional staff (Superintendent, Probation Officers, etc.) and other key stakeholders.
• Coordinate with the organization's Social Worker to ensure comprehensive support and supervision for the children.
• Collect data, create reports, write blogs, and document the journeys of children and young people on the internal data collection system.
  

Qualifications and Experience:

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience working with children.
• A Master's Degree in Psychology (clinical or counseling).
• Proficiency in Hindi, English, and Marathi (optional).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, etc.).
