Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance core storage system components with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability
• Work extensively on storage technologies, including flash-based storage systems and related subsystems
• Develop and maintain high-quality, efficient code using C++ and Python for system-level and tooling requirements
• Analyze and optimize storage performance, latency, and throughput across different workloads
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to design decisions for next-generation storage solutions
• Debug complex issues across the storage stack, from hardware interaction to system software layers
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as firmware, hardware, QA, and product engineering
• Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to best engineering practices
• Contribute to documentation, technical specifications, and knowledge sharing within the team
• Stay current with evolving storage technologies, trends, and industry best practices
  

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on engineering experience, with significant exposure to storage systems and low-level software development
• Strong expertise in C++ for building performance-critical systems and Python for automation, tooling, or supporting services
• Solid understanding of storage architectures, including flash storage, file systems, block storage, or related technologies
• Proven ability to work on complex, large-scale systems and troubleshoot challenging technical problems
• Experience optimizing systems for performance, reliability, and scalability
• Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and system-level thinking
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, engineering-driven environment
• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
