Ranba Castings Limited (RCL), a member of the VR Foundries group, specializes in high-quality Grey and SG (Ductile) iron castings for a diverse range of industries including automobiles, pump manufacturing, textiles, and hydraulics. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore for a Melting Engineer. The Melting Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the melting process, including furnace operation, monitoring and controlling melting parameters, and ensuring the quality of the molten metal. The engineer will also be involved in maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Collaboration with other departments to improve process efficiency and product quality will be an integral part of the role.

Qualifications

Knowledge in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
Experience in Project Management
Research and Development (R&D) skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent team collaboration and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Previous experience in a foundry industry is a plus
