Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Coder specializing in Radiology to join our healthcare team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately coding radiology services, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, and collaborating with medical professionals to enhance documentation and coding accuracy.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze radiology reports to ensure accurate coding.
Assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for procedures and diagnoses.
Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify information and improve documentation.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding policies and procedures.
Participate in quality assurance audits and implement feedback for improvement.

Skills and Qualifications

1-5 years of experience in medical coding, specifically in radiology.
Proficient in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, or RCC) is preferred.
