Description

The Tool Crib Operator - Finishing is responsible for managing the inventory of tools and equipment used in the finishing department. This role involves issuing tools to production staff, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring the tool crib is organized and compliant with safety standards.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the tool crib inventory ensuring all tools are accounted for and organized.
Issue and receive tools to and from production staff as required.
Perform regular audits of tool inventory and report discrepancies.
Assist in the identification and procurement of new tools and equipment as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the tool crib area.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols in the tool crib.

Skills and Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or tool crib environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in inventory management systems and software.
Knowledge of various tools, equipment, and their maintenance requirements.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills to interact with production staff and management.
