Medical Science Liaison - Rare Blood Disorder

Role Overview: As a Scientific Advisor (MSL) for Rare Blood Disorders, your role involves combining technical and scientific expertise to plan and communicate effectively with internal and external partners. You are responsible for engaging with Key Opinion Leaders and healthcare professionals to discuss recent scientific evidence, clinical studies, and disease management within the therapeutic area of Rare Blood Disorders, with a focus on Hemophilia. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, organize, and execute field activities to disseminate medical knowledge and update healthcare professionals on the therapeutic area of Rare Blood Disorders - Provide information on relevant clinical studies and treatment guidelines to healthcare professionals - Organize and conduct meetings and scientific lectures with healthcare professionals - Relate scientific activities to the company's strategic objectives and support healthcare professionals in the diagnostic and management journey of patients with hemophilia - Collaborate in speaker training and gather insights on treatment trends for feedback to various areas of Sanofi - Participate in periodic meetings with brand teams and maintain compliance with ethical principles and regulatory requirements - Establish peer relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and stakeholders, using strong knowledge of diseases and competitors to articulate the value of products - Work with Sanofi's Diagnostic coordinator to resolve queries and enable diagnostic pre-work before therapy initiation - Support evidence-generation activities by aiding in data acquisition and identifying opportunities for further data collection Qualifications Required: - Advanced degree in a technical, scientific, or medical field (MBBS, MD) preferred with 2-4 years of experience - Experience/knowledge of Hematology/Hemophilia strongly preferred - Previous experience as a Scientific Advisor (MSL) in the pharmaceutical industry - Soft skills include effective communication, proactivity, prioritization, strategic planning, critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork - Technical skills in developing engagement and communication plans, and knowledge of scientific methodology and data analysis - Language proficiency in advanced English Additional Company Details: Sanofi is committed to pursuing progress and discovering extraordinary advancements in medical science.
