Medical Representative

Responsibilities

1. Product Promotion & Sales

• Promote company products to doctors, clinics, hospitals, and chemists.
  
• Provide product information and explain usage, benefits, and advantages.
  
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  

2. Doctor & Chemist Relationship Management

• Visit doctors as per the daily call plan and influence prescriptions.
  
• Maintain healthy relationships with pharmacists and retailers.
  
• Ensure availability and visibility of products at all chemist outlets.
  

3. Territory Management

• Manage assigned area effectively and cover all key customers regularly.
  
• Increase the doctor base and expand chemist coverage.
  
• Ensure proper stock flow through distributors.
  

4. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain daily call reports (DCR), sales data, and visit summaries.
  
• Provide feedback on market trends, competition, and prescription audit.
  
• Participate in monthly and quarterly review meetings.
  

5. Product Knowledge

• Stay updated with product composition, indications, contraindications, and clinical studies.
  
• Attend training programs to improve product and selling skills.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in Science/Pharmacy preferred; any graduate can apply.
  
• 12 years of experience .
  
• Strong communication, persuasion, and presentation skills.
  
• Good territory knowledge and networking ability.
  
• Willingness to travel extensively.
  
• Smartphone proficiency and familiarity with reporting apps.
