Job Description

To carryout technical analysis and evaluation of medical records in accordance with the hospital standards.
To observe professional ethics and ensure confidentiality of information guidelines.
To evaluate documentation for deficiencies in the outpatient and in-patient medical folders.
To code and index diseases, operations and therapeutic procedures according to ICD.
To feed patient information into the hospital information systems for processing, storage and retrieval when required.
To perform other works related to medical records management as assigned by the medical records officer.
To carry out medical audit in patient files as well as in EMR.
Any other principal duties and key tasks assigned by the management from time to time.
