Job Description:

We're seeking a skilled Mental Health Medical Coder to join our team. As a Mental Health Medical Coder, you will be responsible for accurately assigning and validating medical codes for mental health diagnoses and procedures. Key Responsibilities:

- Assign and validate ICD-10-CM codes for mental health diagnoses

- Assign and validate CPT/HCPCS codes for mental health procedures and services

- Ensure compliance with coding regulations and guidelines

- Conduct coding audits and quality reviews

- Stay up-to-date with coding updates and changes

Requirements:

- Medical coding certifications (e.g., CPC, CCS)

- Strong knowledge of mental health terminology and coding systems (e.g., ICD-10-CM, CPT)

- Experience with mental health coding preferred

- Attention to detail and analytical skills

- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
