Mechanical/Electrical Engineer

As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Trafo Power & Electricals Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and reviewing mechanical components of transformers and radiators. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and reviewing mechanical components such as tanks, radiators, clamping structures, and cooling systems for transformers. - Preparing technical drawings, CAD models, and mechanical schematics for fabrication processes. - Supervising fabrication, assembly, and welding processes to ensure dimensional accuracy and structural integrity. - Collaborating with electrical engineers to integrate mechanical and electrical components effectively. - Conducting inspections, testing, and quality checks on mechanical assemblies to maintain high standards. - Optimizing mechanical processes to enhance production efficiency and reduce material wastage. - Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, mechanical standards, and company quality policies. - Supporting maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical systems in production. - Coordinating with procurement to select suitable mechanical materials and components. Additionally, you will also be involved in the electrical aspects of transformers, coils, and radiator systems: - Designing and supervising electrical aspects of transformers, coils, and radiator systems. - Preparing technical drawings, schematics, and specifications for transformer production. - Monitoring and ensuring the quality of electrical components such as coils, conductors, insulation, and connections. - Supervising transformer winding processes, including disc-type and other winding techniques. - Conducting testing, commissioning, and performance evaluation of transformers and radiators. - Troubleshooting electrical faults in transformer and radiator assemblies. - Coordinating with production, fabrication, and quality teams to meet project requirements. - Ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards, company guidelines, and statutory regulations. - Maintaining technical documentation, test reports, and project records. - Supporting procurement and selection of appropriate materials such as wires, insulation, and cooling components.
