MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN ETP

Core Responsibilities:

• Equipment Operation & Maintenance
• Carry out daily operation and preventive maintenance of pumps, blowers, agitators, compressors, valves, and pipelines.
• Monitor mechanical systems (clarifiers, filters, centrifuges, aerators, etc.) to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform lubrication, alignment, tightening, and replacement of worn-out parts as per maintenance schedules.
• Breakdown and Corrective Maintenance
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Replace defective components and assist in overhauling mechanical equipment.
• Maintain mechanical spares inventory for critical ETP equipment.
• Monitoring & Reporting
• Maintain daily maintenance logs and breakdown reports.
• Record equipment readings, mechanical performance parameters, and maintenance activity reports.
• Coordinate with the ETP operator for process performance feedback.
• Safety & Compliance
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE usage, and permit-to-work systems during maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) guidelines.
• Support in audits and inspections by pollution control authorities.
• Support Activities
• Assist in ETP upgradation, modification, and installation of new mechanical systems.
• Work in coordination with the electrical and instrumentation teams during shutdown or major maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping around ETP equipment and mechanical workshop areas.
• Continuous Improvement
• Suggest and implement mechanical reliability improvement ideas.
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive action planning.
• Ensure cost-effective maintenance without compromising on quality and safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
