Mechanical Supervisor

Description

We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Supervisor to oversee and manage mechanical maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mechanical engineering and experience in supervising a team of technicians to ensure that all mechanical systems are functioning efficiently.

Work:

Plant & machinery maintenance (Grader, Excavator, Loader, Tipper, Boomer, Shotcrete, etc.)

Handle fitting, welding, breakdown, daily reporting, tools/material tracking, site safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical maintenance and repair operations in the facility.
• Lead a team of technicians and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to improve efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections of mechanical systems and equipment to identify issues.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve any mechanical issues.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical supervision or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, maintenance practices, and safety standards.
• Proficiency in using mechanical tools and equipment.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
