Mechanical Quality Engineer

As a Mechanical Quality Assurance/Quality Control at our company, your role will involve overseeing the quality of Steel Pipes, Tubes, Pipe Fittings, Tube Fittings, Flanges, Fasteners, and other related products. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in scheduling, pre-planning, assembly & packaging to ensure optimal timing of all orders. - Maintaining proper records of the manufactured and tested products. - Inspecting incoming raw materials for required characteristics. - Conducting inspections of materials across India as needed. - Preparing inspection reports, conducting comparisons and tests, identifying root causes of problems, and consulting with relevant stakeholders to prevent them. - Creating Material Test Certificates (MTC) and other test report documents. - Tracking material movement until final packaging. - Assisting in problem-solving efforts to reduce delinquent orders. - Inspecting raw materials according to the codebook. - Developing a Quality training plan (QAP/ITP) and providing machine handling training for new workers. - Managing all ISO documents with the team for internal and final audits. - Analyzing part-wise monthly rejection with the QC team and preparing action plans. - Implementing new processes to enhance part quality. - Gathering feedback from customers on product quality with the support of the sales department. - Supporting the sales team by providing knowledge about the materials.
