Role Description

This is a contract, on-site role based in Chennai for a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter/Technician. Responsibilities include through knowledge of forging as well as trimming press, coining press and hydraulic presses for closed due and opendye forging presses. Capable of dismantling and assembly of all press parts and having knowledge of measuring instruments and drawing reading. Manufacturing of spare parts. Knowledge of commissioning of presses.The role involves troubleshooting mechanical issues, implementing preventive maintenance schedules, operating relevant tools, and collaborating with engineers and team members to ensure optimal equipment functionality and minimal downtime.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Maintenance and Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently
• Proficiency in performing routine and detailed Inspection of equipment and systems
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and follow safety protocols
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Prior experience of 4-5 years knowledge of forging as well as trimming press, coining press and hydraulic presses for closed due and opendye forging presses.
• Capable of dismantling and assembly of all press parts and having knowledge of measuring instruments and drawing reading. Manufacturing of spare parts
• Knowledge of commissioning of presses.
• ITI holder or knowledge in the similar field.
