---Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in Water Supply Projects, specifically in Water Treatment Plants (WTPs). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in erection & commissioning, and a sound understanding of mechanical systems such as high-pressure pumps, reciprocating pumps, DI/MS pipe laying, valve erection, and related components.
---Key Responsibilities:

• · Supervise and execute erection and commissioning activities of mechanical equipment at Water Treatment Plants.
• · Handle installation and alignment of high-pressure pumps, reciprocating pumps, and associated mechanical systems.
• · Oversee pipe laying (DI, MS, etc.) and ensure proper jointing, testing, and backfilling procedures.
• · Manage erection and fitting of DI fittings, MS pipes, valves, and mechanical auxiliaries.
• · Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project management teams to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
• · Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning activities including system checks, flushing, pressure testing, and operational trials.
• · Review technical drawings and ensure execution as per approved design.
• · Ensure safety compliance and quality control during all phases of the mechanical installation.
• · Maintain documentation and progress reports, including daily site activity logs and commissioning records.

• · Educational Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• · Experience: 3-5 years in mechanical execution roles for water supply infrastructure, preferably in Water Treatment Plants.
• · Technical Skills:
• o Strong knowledge of erection & commissioning of mechanical systems
• o Proficient in handling pumps, valves, and piping systems (DI, MS)
• o Familiarity with pipe-laying techniques and valve fitting
• o Understanding of hydraulic testing and system commissioning
• o Knowledge of MS office applications
• · Other Skills:
• o Strong project execution and coordination skills
• o Good communication and documentation abilities
• o Ability to work independently and in a team environment

---Preferred Experience:

• · Experience working with industrial water supply projects.
• · Knowledge of relevant codes and standards for water infrastructure.
• · Prior involvement in turnkey EPC projects in the water sector will be an advantage.

---Salary: As per industry standards
Joining: Immediate / Short Notice Preferred

Pay: ₹17,084.65 - ₹59,610.64 per month
