Mechanical Engineer - Solidworks

As an Engineer - Mechanical Design at Vertiv's IBS Pune facility within the Global MCAD CoE, you will have the opportunity to showcase your passion for mechanical design in a technically driven environment that values individual contributions. Working in a collaborative team, you will play a key role in designing and developing mechanical components and assemblies, with a specific focus on Busway systems. Your responsibilities will also include working on CAD modeling and detailing using SolidWorks, creating 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings, and participating in customer review meetings for project coordination. In addition, you will be responsible for providing project estimations, adhering to project management processes, and maintaining quality and schedule adherence as defined by the organization. Your qualifications should include a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, 3-5 years of experience on the SolidWorks platform in the sheet metal domain, and expertise in 3D modeling and detailing. Experience in the Switchgear industry, working with PLM tools, knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, and a proactive, flexible approach to teamwork will be advantageous for this role.
