Mechanical Engineer ( QA QC)

As a meticulous and proactive Mechanical Engineer with expertise in QA QC for Metal and Metal-related products, especially in the fabrication of Stainless Steel like Skirtings, railings, Balustrades, Facade, Wall Mounted railings, and Cladding, your role at Navkar Metal India will involve handling production quality, understanding drawings, approving benchmark products, managing documents, and coordinating between design, production, and installation teams on-site. You are expected to be a resident of Mumbai and be able to provide technical advice and innovative ideas as needed. **Key Responsibilities:** - Quality Management - Quantity Management - Document Controller - Problem-solving skills - Cost Control - Develop, organize, and maintain a comprehensive system for all mechanical engineering documentation - Manage the flow of documents between departments, vendors, and clients - Track and monitor the progress of all machine-related work - Develop and maintain schedules for machine maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and new installations - Coordinate with production, maintenance, and external vendors to ensure adherence to deadlines - Identify potential delays and proactively implement solutions - Gather and document all mechanical engineering requirements for factory operations and site projects - Ensure designs and installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations - Assist in the preparation of technical specifications for equipment procurement - Support site teams with necessary documentation and technical assistance - Participate in site inspections and ensure adherence to engineering standards - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, quality assurance, and procurement **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering - 3-4 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, preferably within a manufacturing or project-based environment - Proven experience in Quality and Quantity management skills, technical documentation, and project timelines - Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices - Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations for Stainless Steel and other Alloys - Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is an advantage - Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills (English) - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
