Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Assist in tearing down and evaluating our existing v3 indoor farming system to identify mechanical failures (airflow, leaks, structural issues).
Support the design of the next-gen v4 enclosure using CAD tools (SolidWorks/Fusion 360).
Work hands-on with fabrication partners to build and test mechanical subsystems (airflow channels, tray mechanisms, water-routing).
Run thermal, airflow, and leak tests on prototypes and document learnings.
Prepare mechanical drawings, BOMs, and assembly guides for small-batch manufacturing (2–3 units).
Work directly with electrical and software engineers to integrate mechanical components into the full system.
Participate in installation, testing, and debugging of the units during pilot runs.
