Design Engineer

1. Position & Reporting

Person will be designated as Design Engineer (Sheet Metal Fabrication) and will report directly to the [Manager/Director/Authorized Person].

2. Compensation

• Person will be paid a net salary of ₹23,000/- (Rupees Twenty-Three Thousand only) per month, calculated on an hourly basis.
• Hourly Pay System:
• If you work 8 hours/day, you will be paid for 8 hours.
• If you work more than 8 hours/day, you will be paid for actual hours worked.
• Leave Policy: No work = No pay. Any leave taken will be treated as unpaid leave.

3. Working Hours

Your normal working hours will be from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (8 hours per day, Monday to Saturday). However, you may be required to work additional hours as per company requirements.

4. Roles & Responsibilities

You shall:

• Create 3D models, detailed fabrication drawings, and designs for sheet metal structures.
• Prepare and update Bill of Materials (BOM) for each project and upload to the ERP system.
• Revise and update drawings at necessary stages of production.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure manufacturability.
• Follow all company design standards, documentation protocols, and confidentiality guidelines.

5. Factory Safety & Compliance

You are required to:

• Always Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in factory/workshop areas.
• Follow all safety rules, fire safety protocols, and emergency evacuation procedures.
• Abstain from smoking, alcohol, or substance abuse inside the premises.
• Not enter restricted areas without prior authorization.
• Report any accident, unsafe condition, or near-miss immediately to the supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality of all company drawings, data, and technical documents.
• Photography/videography inside the premises is strictly prohibited.

6. Termination Policy

• This is an hourly contract employment.
• The Company reserves the right to terminate your employment without notice in case of:
• Misconduct, negligence, safety violation, or breach of confidentiality.
• Repeated absenteeism or poor performance.
• If you wish to resign, you must give a minimum of 7 days’ written notice or forfeit salary for the notice period.
• Upon termination, you must return all company property, documents, data, and access rights immediately.

7. General Conditions

• You are expected to maintain discipline, punctuality, and professional conduct at all times.
• Company policies, factory laws, and management instructions are binding during your employment.
• Any violation of company rules may result in disciplinary action or termination.
