Mechanical Draftsman Solution Design - Godrej Koerber

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Draftsman to support the Pre-Sales Solution Design team by creating detailed 2D/3D layouts for automated intralogistics systems such as AS/RS, conveyors, robotic systems, pallet shuttles, and other material-handling equipment. The role requires close collaboration with Solution Design Engineers and Sales Managers to deliver accurate and innovative concepts for client proposals.

1. Mechanical Drawing Layout Creation
   • Prepare detailed 2D/3D system layouts for AS/RS, Mini-Load systems, conveyors, pallet shuttles, and robotic systems.
   • Integrate civil layouts, sprinklers, equipment line systems, and other components into the final system layout.
   • Release AS/RS layouts and dynamic equipment modules.
2. Collaboration
   • Work closely with Solution Design Engineers and Sales Managers to develop cost-effective and timely layout solutions.
   • Communicate layout outcomes and design insights with the solution design team.
3. Compliance Documentation
   • Ensure all drawings meet company standards and industry regulations.
   • Maintain revision history and related documentation as per IMS guidelines.
4. Innovation Standardization
   • Create standard templates for cranes, conveyors, racking systems, etc., to improve drafting efficiency.
   • Develop and use dynamic models for various equipment.
   • Apply knowledge of 3D animation tools for visual presentations when required.
5. Teamwork
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of all tasks.
   • Support solution design initiatives through accurate and timely drafting.
