Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare 2D production and fabrication drawings of mechanical components using AutoCAD.
Create detailed assembly drawings, exploded views, and BOMs for manufacturing.
Support the design team in developing concept layouts and design modifications.
Ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with engineering and drafting standards.
Perform 3D modeling in SolidWorks / Autodesk Inventor
Collaborate with engineers and production teams to resolve design-related queries.
Maintain drawing revisions and documentation records.

Required Skills:

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D Drafting & Detailing).
Hands-on experience with 3D modeling software (SolidWorks / Autodesk Inventor Basic to intermediate).
Knowledge of mechanical components, fabrication, and machining processes.
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T symbols.
Familiarity with industry standards (ANSI, ISO, BIS,AS3990,AS1100).
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate drawings within deadlines.

Good to Have:

Exposure to sheet metal, structural steel, or piping drawings.
Experience in preparing shop drawings for fabrication.
Knowledge of materials, fasteners, and manufacturing practices.
Knowledge of Inventor will be add on
