Mechanical Design Engineer

As a Mechanical Design Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for utilizing your B.E/M.Tech in Mechanical qualification to contribute to our projects. Your role will involve showcasing your skills in Machine Design and R&D Design, ensuring a strong grasp on Material Selection, Machining, and Fabrication processes, as well as post-processing operations. You will be expected to take ownership of project delivery from concept to release, demonstrating your ability to handle calculations to define structures/loads and select the appropriate OEMs and accessories in the market, such as Linear Guides, Motors, gearbox, bearings, etc. Your expertise in Sheet metal design and applications will be crucial, along with your proficiency in creating manufacturing drawings and defining tolerances using GD&T. Proficiency in UG NX is a requirement for this role, as well as knowledge in Structural Analysis and an understanding of various manufacturing techniques. Additionally, having a background in the Semiconductor & Special Purpose Machine Industry will be considered an advantage. As part of the Automotive EDA tools team, this is a Full-Time position based in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in the field and should be available to start immediately. Good presentation and negotiation skills are also essential for this role.
