As a Mechanical Engineer based in Shrirampur, you will report to the Plant Maintenance Manager in the Engineering & Maintenance department. You are required to hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE) and possess a minimum of 7-8 years of experience in the Mechanical Maintenance field, preferably within the Dairy Processing industry. Your responsibilities will include maintaining various equipment used in Food / Dairy processing such as Milk Dryers, Cheese, Paneer, Milk Pre-processing, and more. You should have experience with a range of Dairy Processing equipment including Rotary Equipment, Centrifugal, Lobes, Gear, Vacuum, High-Pressure Pumps, Gearbox, Agitators, Mixers, High-Speed Machines, Separators, Bactofuge, Decanters, Air Compressors, Refrigeration Systems, Boilers, and HVAC systems. Your role will involve anticipating, understanding, and resolving maintenance issues using your analytical skills. You will collaborate with shift engineers and the production team to ensure machine availability, maintain checklists, and adhere to Food safety and Human safety standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for diagnosing machinery breakdowns, identifying maintenance-prone areas, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurring issues. Other duties include maintaining historical records, daily log books, ISO documents, certifying bills for outsourced jobs, planning and executing shutdown jobs, managing spare parts inventory, and preparing monthly maintenance presentations. You will also be involved in inspecting, instructing, training, and developing technicians in best engineering practices. Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO Systems, and SAP will be beneficial in this role. Roles & Responsabilits For the Aftersales department, FCI is now looking for a Service Engineer to be located temporarily at their premises in Pirangut (Pune) for initial at least one year and then on an undefined term in PAN India to take care of all service-related activities areas defined hereunder. You will be involved in and expected to: Commission, troubleshoot, attend Emergency Breakdown, and complete maintenance of air compressors from 45kW to 630kW. Development of each package through Kick-off meetings, Design Reviews, FATs SATs etc. Ensure packages are designed, manufactured and tested as per project requirements.
