We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience in industrial automation and SPM machines. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting mechanical systems for automated equipment, ensuring functionality, manufacturability, safety, and cost effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems for automation equipment, fixtures, jigs, conveyors, robotic cells, and SPMs
• Create 3D models and detailed 2D drawings using CAD software
• Select standard mechanical components such as bearings, motors, gearboxes, pneumatics, and linear motion systems
• Perform tolerance stack-ups, strength calculations, and basic FEA where required
• Work closely with electrical, controls, and manufacturing teams for system integration
• Support prototype assembly, testing, debugging, and commissioning
• Ensure designs comply with machine safety standards (ISO, CE, OSHA)
• Prepare BOMs, technical documentation, and manuals
• Assist in cost estimation and design optimization
• Support continuous improvement and design standardization

Required Skills & QualificationsEducation

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles
• Hands-on experience in automation/SPM machine design
• Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks / Creo / Inventor / CATIA)
• Experience with pneumatic & hydraulic systems
• Knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and materials
• Understanding of robotics, conveyors, and automation components (preferred)
• Familiarity with machine safety norms

Software Tools

• CAD: SolidWorks / Creo / Inventor
• PLM/PDM systems (preferred)
• MS Excel for calculations and BOMs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
