Job Description

Responsibilities Good knowledge of Machine or large equipment assembly and testing Lead a team of 15 to 20 Engineers / Technicians. Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resources. Adapt and follow SOPs related to machine assembly. Train new team members effectively. Prepare production plan & schedule and implement it effectively. Good communication skill to coordinate with suppliers. Creating product documentation and records. Inspecting Mechanical components before assembly. Prepare production reports for MIS. Check quality tolerance standards and report the same. Good knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and follow the same. Responsible to handle machine movement, loading and offloading of material. Optimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations. Resolve issues and delays in production. Find ways to reduce costs and maximize output. WIP inventory control. Conduct internal audits to assure compliance to organizational, departmental, regulatory & customer policies. Requirements and skills Good knowledge of Machine / Equipment testing. Trouble shotting and problem solving during equipment testing. Development of Jigs / Fixtures for ease of assembly. Worked in Assembly in a lead role. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and tool design. Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques. Well-versed in relevant software (e.g. CAD, MS Office). Project management skills. Problem-solving ability. Teamwork skills. Degree in Engineering; post-graduate degree is added advantage.
