MCX Assistant Trader

Role & responsibilities:

> The trader is responsible for analysing MCX commodity markets, including Crude Oil, Gold, Silver, Natural Gas, and other major instruments.

> The trader executes intraday trades as per the companys predefined strategies and risk guidelines.

> The trader places accurate Market, Limit, and Stop-Loss orders to ensure disciplined and efficient trade execution.

> The trader continuously monitors open positions and adjusts trades based on market movement and volatility.

> The trader follows all company trading policies, risk rules, and compliance requirements without deviation.

> The trader maintains discipline, emotional control, and professional behaviour during fast-moving market conditions.

> The trader collaborates with senior traders and the research team to improve trading performance and decision-making.

> The trader manages risk by maintaining proper position sizing, applying stop-loss levels, and avoiding over-trading.

> The trader prepares daily trading reports, including P&L summaries, trade logs, and market observations for management review.

Preferred candidate profile:

> The candidate should have a basic to intermediate understanding of the Stock Market, Commodity Market, and MCX trading environment.

> The candidate should possess strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret price trends and market movements.

> The candidate must be disciplined, focused, and able to remain calm during high-volatility market conditions.

> The candidate should have good computer proficiency and the ability to operate trading platforms

> The candidate should be a quick learner with a strong interest in financial markets and trading.

> Having an NISM certification (especially in Equity Derivatives or Commodity Markets) will be considered an added advantage.
