Location & Shift:
Nehru Nagar, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India — On-site. Duty timing: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
About The Opportunity
We are hiring an experienced MBBS-qualified Resident Medical Officer to deliver high-quality gynecology and obstetric clinical care during the afternoon-evening shift. The role requires hands-on management of antenatal/postnatal patients, routine gynecology consultations, and prompt response to obstetric emergencies within a compact, fast-paced clinical environment.Role & Responsibilities
- Provide on-site clinical assessment and management for gynecology and obstetric patients during the 12–8 PM shift, including antenatal and postnatal care.
- Manage normal deliveries and stabilize emergency obstetric cases; initiate referrals or escalate to senior consultants as required.
- Perform gynecological examinations, minor procedures (e.g., IUD insertion, wound care), and assist in cesarean sections when scheduled.
- Respond to obstetric emergencies, initiate resuscitation for mother and newborn, and coordinate emergency transfers when needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records, update EMR, and prepare concise handover notes for incoming shifts and consultants.
- Ensure infection control, patient safety protocols, and adherence to clinical governance standards during all patient interactions.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- MBBS degree and valid medical registration to practice in India.
- Prior RMO or clinical duty experience covering obstetrics and gynecology.
- Competence in emergency obstetric care and newborn resuscitation.
- Ability to manage normal vaginal deliveries and initial management of postpartum complications.
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and clinical documentation.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent.
Preferred
- Experience assisting in cesarean sections and exposure to minor gynecological procedures.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification or equivalent training.
- Prior work experience in busy urban maternity/gynecology clinics.
