As a Technical Writer at EY, you will have the opportunity to work in the EY GDS Content Center of Excellence, a team of talented professionals supporting key global EY publications and campaigns. Your role will involve preparing, reviewing, revising, and maintaining technical documents independently, including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze business problems, and create various types of technical documentation. Your responsibilities will include creating user/administrator guides, installation guides, video tutorials, online help, and developer documentation, as well as organizing information through diagrams, flow charts, and process flow maps. You will also provide recommendations on best practices in technical documentation, lead documentation initiatives, and drive guidelines for the technical writing function. Key Responsibilities: - Create and review various technical documents for products/services - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business problems and communication/training requirements - Identify information gaps, gather process/application knowledge, and conduct audience analysis - Write clear and concise technical documents - Organize and present information through diagrams and flow charts - Evaluate organization structure to improve content management - Provide recommendations on best practices in technical documentation - Lead documentation initiatives and drive guidelines for the technical writing function - Create content for state-of-the-art applications for diverse user groups Qualifications Required: - At least 8-9 years of related experience - Bachelors or masters degree, preferably in English literature or mass communication Additional Details: EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a dynamic and truly global delivery network operating across six locations.
