Role Overview

We are looking for an intellectually curious and student-centered Diploma Programme (DP) Mathematics Educator to teach Grades 11 and 12. The candidate must be confident in delivering both Analysis and Approaches (AA) and Applications and Interpretation (AI) tracks and should have strong conceptual clarity in abstract and applied mathematics. A mindset of collaboration, reflection, and continuous growth is key.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for DP Mathematics (AA and/or AI), incorporating IB frameworks and standards.
• wDevelop meaningful assessments and support students in Internal Assessments (IAs) and exam preparation.
• Foster inquiry, logical reasoning, and data-driven thinking through real-life contexts.
• Use technological tools like Desmos, GeoGebra, spreadsheets, and coding to enhance learning.
• Provide timely feedback and help students set academic goals aligned with IB expectations.
• Collaborate with department members on unit planning, moderation, and interdisciplinary learning.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mathematics or a relevant discipline.
• Experience in teaching DP Mathematics (AA or AI) preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong digital fluency and ability to integrate technology effectively in the classroom.
• Empathetic, reflective, and solution-oriented mindset.
