The candidate must be confident in delivering both Analysis and Approaches (AA) and Applications and Interpretation (AI) tracks and should have strong conceptual clarity in abstract and applied mathematics. A mindset of collaboration, reflection, and continuous growth is key. Plan and deliver engaging lessons for DP Mathematics (AA and/or AI), incorporating IB frameworks and standards. wDevelop meaningful assessments and support students in Internal Assessments (IAs) and exam preparation. Foster inquiry, logical reasoning, and data-driven thinking through real-life contexts. Use technological tools like Desmos, GeoGebra, spreadsheets, and coding to enhance learning. Provide timely feedback and help students set academic goals aligned with IB expectations. Collaborate with department members on unit planning, moderation, and interdisciplinary learning. Preferred Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mathematics or a relevant discipline. Experience in teaching DP Mathematics (AA or AI) preferred. Role Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking MYP Integrated Humanities Educator to teach students of Grades 7 to 10. The candidate should possess a strong interdisciplinary understanding of History, Geography, and Civics, along with the ability to spark curiosity about global and local issues. The ideal teacher will be skilled in designing concept-based, inquiry-driven units aligned with the MYP framework, and adept at using G-Suite educational tools. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Integrated Humanities lessons for Grades 7–10. Develop Interdisciplinary and inquiry-based units rooted in MYP Key and Related Concepts, Global Contexts, and Approaches to Learning (ATL). Facilitate classroom discussions around historical events, geographical patterns, and civic responsibilities to build critical thinking and global awareness. Create real-world connections to help students understand contemporary global and local issues through a humanities lens. Use a variety of teaching methods and strategies to cater to different learning needs and styles. Assess student understanding through a range of formative and summative tasks aligned with MYP assessment criteria.
