Role Overview: As a PRT Maths teacher at our Primary School in Faridabad, your main responsibility will be to deliver engaging and age-appropriate computer education to primary students (Grades IV). Your role will focus on fostering foundational digital skills, promoting responsible use of technology, and generating interest in computer science among the students. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum and digital literacy standards. - Introduce students to basic computer operations, software applications (MS Office, Paint, etc.), internet usage, and keyboarding skills. - Utilize creative teaching techniques such as games, activities, and interactive tools to enhance the learning experience. - Regularly assess student progress and maintain accurate academic records. - Advocate for responsible digital citizenship, online safety, and appropriate technology usage. - Collaborate with fellow teachers to incorporate technology into cross-curricular learning activities. - Organize or assist in school IT-related events like exhibitions, coding week, or tech competitions. - Offer additional support to students requiring individual attention. - Ensure the maintenance of computer lab equipment and promptly report any issues for timely resolution. - Attend staff meetings, training programs, and parent-teacher meetings as necessary. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field. - Previous experience in teaching computer education at the primary level would be advantageous. - Proficiency in using software applications such as MS Office, Paint, and internet resources. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and parents effectively.
