Job Title: Mathematics Faculty – Full-Time / Part-Time

Location: Hazra, Kolkata (with travel to North Bengal: Malda, Cooch Behar)

Salary:

• Full-Time: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month
• Part-Time: ₹2,500 – ₹3,000 per day

Travel Allowance: All travel-related expenses will be fully covered by the institute
Experience: Prior teaching experience is mandatory
Qualification: M.Sc. in Mathematics or a related discipline

Role Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and committed Mathematics Faculty to join our team in Kolkata (Hazra). The candidate must have strong subject knowledge, a passion for teaching, and the ability to deliver lessons with clarity and care. The faculty member will also be required to travel to our centers in North Bengal (such as Malda, Cooch Behar) at least twice a month, with all travel expenses reimbursed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics to school and competitive-level students with a student-focused approach
• Deliver concept-based, engaging lessons both in Kolkata and at Pathfinder’s North Bengal centers
• Provide academic support and personal guidance to ensure each student’s progress
• Prepare lesson plans, study materials, and conduct regular tests/assessments
• Travel minimum twice a month to North Bengal centers (Malda, Cooch Behar, etc.) for scheduled classes
• Coordinate with academic teams to ensure curriculum coverage and teaching quality
• Foster a disciplined, supportive, and motivating classroom environment
• Participate in training programs, academic planning, and internal meetings

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• M.Sc. in Mathematics or equivalent (mandatory)
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in a school, coaching institute, or similar setting
• Strong subject expertise with clear and structured teaching methods
• Good communication and classroom management skills
• Must be open to travel at least twice monthly to North Bengal (travel allowance will be provided)
