Job Summary:

Responsible for maintaining the materials store for the Sample Department, ensuring proper stock management, accurate inventory tracking, timely issuance of materials, and smooth functioning of the sample production process. The role demands attention to detail, organizational skills, and familiarity with leather and accessory materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the Sample Department material store in an organized and systematic manner.
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials, including leather, linings, hardware, threads, and other accessories.
• Monitor stock levels regularly and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Issue materials to sample makers and designers as per requisitions.
• Ensure timely replenishment of materials to avoid production delays.
• Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and preservation of all materials to avoid damage or loss.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the store.
• Collaborate with the sample development and production teams for smooth workflow.
• Support management in tracking material consumption and preparing reports.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory management or storekeeping, preferably in leather goods, fashion accessories, or similar industries.
• Knowledge of leather, fabrics, hardware, and related sample materials is a plus.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining inventory records (Excel or ERP).
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work systematically with attention to detail.
• Honest, medically fit, and responsible.
