Materials Scientist

This role will involve working on advanced material development, process optimization, and characterization of thin film materials for high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and characterize

  thin film deposition processes

  such as

  PVD (sputtering, evaporation)

  ,

  CVD

  , or

  ALD

  for various materials.
• Select and process materials including metals, oxides, nitrides, and dielectrics based on application requirements.
• Operate and maintain thin film deposition equipment in cleanroom or controlled environments.
• Perform material and film characterization using tools like

  SEM, AFM, XRD, XPS, ellipsometry, profilometry, or FTIR

  .
• Analyse data, identify trends, and correlate deposition parameters with film properties.
• Collaborate with design, process, and testing teams to support product development cycles.
• Document process parameters, procedures, and results in detailed technical reports.
• Ensure processes meet safety, quality, and performance standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Masters or Bachelor’s degree in

  Materials Science

  ,

  Physics

  ,

  Nanotechnology

  , or

  Engineering (Metallurgy/Electronics/Chemical)

  .
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in

  thin film deposition techniques

  in an R&D, semiconductor, or advanced materials environment.
• Strong understanding of

  vacuum systems

  , film stress, adhesion, uniformity, and interface properties.
• Experience with film characterization tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and safety standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in

• Knowledge of
