Job description:

Skilled CFD Engineer specializing in computational fluid dynamics analysis and simulation to drive the design and optimization of advanced thermal and fluid systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and numerical methods, complemented by hands-on expertise with leading CFD software and rigorous model validation techniques. A solid background in mechanical or thermal engineering is essential, with extensive experience in the design and simulation of thermal systems within high-technology sectors such as space, aerospace, or nuclear industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Thermal and Fluid Dynamic Simulations: Conduct CFD simulations to analyze fluid flow, heat transfer, and thermal performance of heat exchangers and other thermal systems using tools such as Simula, or any other relevant CFD software.

• Collaborate closely with design and thermal engineering teams to integrate CFD insights into product development and optimization.

• Perform meshing, solver setup, and post-processing of CFD results to extract meaningful engineering data.

• Validate CFD models through comparison with experimental data and refine simulations to improve accuracy.

• Identify and troubleshoot simulation challenges, optimize computational resources, and ensure timely delivery of results.

• Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

• Stay updated with the latest CFD methodologies, tools, and industry best practices to continuously improve simulation capabilities.

• Heat Exchanger Design: Develop and optimize heat exchanger designs for various industrial applications using advanced thermal analysis techniques.

• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports, design documents, and simulation results. Present findings to stakeholders, ensuring all calculations and designs are well-documented.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Solidworks

• Experience with CFD code preferably Solidworks Simulia

• Familiarity with thermal system optimization techniques and methods.

• Strong background in heat exchanger design for industrial
