Job Description - Technical Consultant

Role: Technical Consultant

Job Overview:

The Technical Consultant (Architectural Background) is responsible for overseeing technical drawings, BOQs, and execution support for construction projects. The role requires architectural expertise, strong knowledge of structural systems, and experience in site coordination. The consultant will act as a bridge between clients, design teams, and site execution teams, ensuring accuracy, feasibility, and timely delivery of project milestones.

Key Responsibilities1. Design Deliverables (Stages 3, 4 & 5)

• Prepare, review, and finalize architectural and structural drawings.
• Ensure coordination between architectural, structural, and MEP layouts.
• Release GA drawings, BOQs, and comprehensive construction documents to clients.
• Review and validate design modifications based on client feedback.

2. Execution & Site Coordination

• Coordinate between consultants, designers, and site engineers.
• Provide execution support with technical clarifications.
• Ensure implementation of drawings and specifications on-site.
• Monitor site issues related to structure, detailing, and materials.

3. Structural & Technical Support

• Evaluate structural feasibility of designs.
• Review column, beam, footing, plinth, and slab details.
• Coordinate with structural consultants for revisions and approvals.
• Ensure technical accuracy and compliance in drawings.

4. Client & Team Communication

• Attend client meetings and clarify technical queries.
• Draft and send technical communication emails after each project stage.
• Coordinate with core design teams (Architect, Structural, MEP) for reviews.
• Guide junior team members in technical documentation and project coordination.

• Strong architectural background with technical expertise.
• Hands-on experience in site coordination and execution support.
• Solid understanding of structural drawings and systems.
• Proficiency in BOQ preparation and estimation.
• Excellent communication, client handling, and team coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented with a problem-solving approach.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Structural knowledge required).
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architectural design, site coordination, and structural review.
• Prior experience in handling client discussions, design deliverables, and execution support.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
