Job Description

Job Title: Head of Media and Communication Department: Marketing/Communications Location: Delhi NCR About the Role: The Head of Media and Communication will lead and oversee all internal and external communication strategies and media relations efforts for Tusaj Lifestyle PVT LTD the unit of The Yum Yum Tree Group. This individual will be responsible for enhancing the companys public image, brand visibility, and engagement with target audiences through strategic communication, media outreach, and storytelling across multiple platforms. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute communication strategies: Create and implement integrated communication plans that align with the company’s mission, vision, and overall business goals. Brand Management and Positioning: Ensure consistent messaging, tone, and positioning across all communication channels to uphold the company’s brand image and reputation. Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with key journalists, influencers, and media outlets to secure high-impact media placements, interviews, and coverage. Crisis Communication: Develop crisis communication plans and manage any sensitive or urgent issues that may impact the company’s reputation or public perception. Content Creation: Oversee the creation of press releases, articles, blogs, newsletters, social media posts, and other communication materials. Internal Communication: Work closely with leadership to ensure transparent and effective internal communication with employees, fostering a positive organizational culture and engagement. Public Relations: Manage PR campaigns and press events to enhance the company’s visibility and engagement with key stakeholders. Digital Communication: Lead digital media strategies, including social media management, SEO-driven content development, email marketing, and website management. Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a team of communication professionals, ensuring high performance and development. Measurement and Reporting: Analyze and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies and media coverage. Adjust strategies based on metrics, audience feedback, and market trends. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in media, public relations, or corporate communications, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership position. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Skills: Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills Proven track record of managing media relations and securing top-tier coverage Expertise in digital media and social media strategies Strong project management and leadership skills Ability to develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies Crisis management and problem-solving skills In-depth knowledge of media, PR, and marketing trends Personality Traits: Strategic thinker with a creative mindset Excellent interpersonal and networking skills Strong decision-making abilities and ability to work under pressure High level of initiative and the ability to work independently.
