Role & responsibilities
Trade & Referral Marketing:
- Develop and strengthen relationships with consultants, general physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to enhance patient referrals.
- Build and manage referral networks with clinics, diagnostic centres, and individual practitioners. • Organize CME (Continuing Medical Education) programs, medical conferences, and doctor engagement activities to enhance partnerships.
- Ensure regular doctor visits, maintaining strong rapport with the medical fraternity.
- Work closely with the hospital's medical and operations teams to create seamless referral processes.
Neighbourhood Marketing & Community Engagement
- Implement localized marketing strategies to target residential areas, apartments, and gated communities.
- Establish partnerships with Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), local clubs, religious institutions, and NGOs to promote hospital services.
- Conduct health camps, awareness drives, free check-up programs, and medical outreach initiatives in the community.
- Organize door-to-door campaigns and BTL (Below the Line) activities to engage local populations effectively.
- Drive patient engagement through word-of-mouth referrals, digital outreach, and community influencers.
Corporate & Institutional Marketing:
- Develop strategic partnerships with corporates, MNCs, government organizations, and insurance companies for employee health programs.
- Conduct corporate wellness programs, annual health check-up camps, and tie-ups for OPD & IPD services.
- Collaborate with HR and Admin heads of large firms to design corporate healthcare benefits.
- Establish relationships with insurance providers and TPAs (Third-Party Administrators) for seamless processing of cashless treatments.
- Work on loyalty programs and special healthcare plans for corporate clients and their employees.
Doctor Engagement & Medical Network Expansion:
- Identify and on board key opinion leaders (KOLs), senior doctors, and reputed specialists as visiting consultants.
- Ensure continuous doctor relationship management to drive patient referrals.
- Organize hospital walkthroughs, facility presentations, and one-on-one interactions with external doctors.
- Strengthen hospital positioning among doctors through testimonial campaigns, networking events, and clinical excellence promotions.
Marketing Intelligence & Competitor Analysis
- Monitor market trends, patient behaviour, and competitor activities to develop winning strategies. • Analyze doctor referral trends and corporate engagement performance to optimize marketing efforts.
- Track and measure ROI (Return on Investment) for trade, neighbourhood, and corporate marketing activities.
- Generate monthly reports on referral business, corporate partnerships, and patient acquisition.
Budgeting & Performance Metrics
- Develop and manage regional marketing budgets, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
- Set and achieve targets for patient referrals, corporate tie-ups, and walk-in footfall.
- Provide leadership to the regional marketing team, training them in doctor engagement, business development, and corporate marketing strategies.
Preferred candidate profile
Graduate/Postgraduate in Marketing, Healthcare Management, or Business Administration.
Experience
Minimum 10-20 years of experience in hospital marketing, with a strong focus on doctor engagement, corporate tie-ups, and community marketing.
Skills Required:
- Strong networking and relationship management skills.
- Experience in trade (doctor) marketing, corporate outreach, and neighbourhood campaigns.
- Ability to generate business through partnerships and referrals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
