Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Planning & Strategy:

Develop annual marketing plans, including budgets and brand strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

Drive branding, product promotion, and communication strategies across multiple platforms.

Media Buying:

Execute effective media buying plans to promote magazines and ensure optimal ROI.

Brand Equity Management:

Collaborate with advertising sales, editorial teams, and promotional agencies to maintain consistent brand positioning and messaging.

Translate brand strategies into actionable revenue-generating plans with key clients.

Circulation & Subscriptions:

Strategize and execute plans to boost magazine circulation and subscriptions.

Analyse sales trends and develop annual proposals tailored to clients’ marketing needs across print, digital, and events.

Advertising & Events:

Coordinate with advertising and event agencies to conceptualize, create, and execute campaigns, monitoring their effectiveness.

ATL & BTL Activities:

Design and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns (ATL/BTL and digital) to accelerate revenue growth.

Manage connections with ad agencies, PR firms, and vendors for product launches and event promotions.

Financial Management:

Oversee and control marketing budgets to maintain financial health while achieving objectives.

Market Research:

Identify market information gaps, set research objectives, and commission studies to address them.

Marketing Innovations:

Conceptualize and execute innovative marketing activities to create new advertising opportunities and enhance brand presence.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education:

    Graduate/Post-graduate (any discipline).
  • Experience:

    Minimum 5 years in a marketing role, preferably in media and events sectors.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication skills with excellent command of English (spoken and written).
  • Proficient in brand communication, trade marketing, sales planning, and market research principles.
  • Familiarity with traditional and digital media platforms.
  • Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and budget-conscious.
