Marketing Copywriter (Agency) U.S. Market Focus

About the Role

We’re looking for a talented agency Copywriter who can craft persuasive, creative, and high-impact content across digital, social, email, and web. You’ll partner with strategists, designers, and client teams to translate marketing goals into copy that drives measurable results—particularly for U.S. audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write engaging copy for websites, landing pages, ads, email, social, blogs, and sales collateral that moves audiences to action.
  • Tailor messaging for U.S. audiences: American English usage, idioms, tone, and cultural nuances.
  • Align copy with U.S. consumer behavior, seasonal moments, and market events; ensure compliance with brand and U.S. marketing guidelines (e.g., FTC).
  • Optimize copy for SEO (on-page best practices, intent-aligned keywords) and performance across platforms.
  • Create platform-native content for LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, and more.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (design, strategy, account) and across time zones with U.S. stakeholders on briefs, feedback, and iterations.

  • Conduct research on industries, audiences, and competitors; adapt voice for sectors like tech, healthcare, education, and HR.
  • Contribute to pitch decks, brand voice guides, messaging frameworks, and campaign presentations.
  • Interpret analytics (CTR, CVR, dwell time, engagement) and iterate copy for continuous improvement.
  • Edit and proofread to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in brand voice across all touchpoints.
  • Participate in brainstorms to generate standout campaign concepts and hooks.

Qualifications:

  • 2–5+ years of agency copywriting or integrated marketing experience.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing campaign concepts, brand storytelling, and high-performing digital/social work.
  • Exceptional command of English grammar and style; sharp conceptual thinker with strategic instincts.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, paid media fundamentals, and content marketing best practices.
  • Comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and feedback cycles.
  • Bonus: Experience writing for U.S. regulated categories; familiarity with accessibility and inclusivity standards.

Tools & Fluency (Nice to Have):

  • Google Workspace, CMS tools (Web flow/WordPress), basic analytics (GA4, platform insights), and AI-assisted drafting/editing tools.

KPIs & Success Metrics:

  • Performance:

    CTR, conversions, engagement rate, and quality scores.
  • Quality & Consistency:

    Clear, on-brand voice across all deliverables; minimal edits required.
  • On-Time Delivery:

    Meets deadlines and brief requirements.
  • Impact:

    Measurable lift from testing/iterations; positive client and audience feedback.
