Job Description – Marketing Coordinator

Location: Talegaon Dabhade, Pune

Type: Full-time, Work from Office

Experience Required: 2–5 years in field marketing (Education Sector preferred)

Salary: As per industry standards and experience

Languages: Marathi, Hindi & English preferred

Travel: Local travel within the branch locality and surrounding villages/towns

Role Objective

To generate quality student inquiries for admissions through field-level activities in the assigned geography. The Marketing Coordinator acts as the link between the community and the college, executing awareness campaigns, conducting outreach, and supporting the admissions team with verified leads.

Key Responsibilities- Community Outreach & Lead Generation

- Visit homes in nearby areas, villages, and localities to introduce MIT Junior Colleges’ programs.

- Distribute brochures and collect basic student information (Name, Class, Contact Details, Stream Interest).

- Maintain a door-to-door visit log with addresses covered, response type, and follow-up needs.

School Visits & Career Seminars

- Plan and execute Career Guidance Seminars in schools.

- Coordinate with school authorities to schedule sessions and maximize participation.

- Collect student data post-seminar and hand over to the internal admissions team.

Outdoor Marketing Execution

- Coordinate the placement of banners, pole boards, and hoardings.

- Ensure timely distribution of newspaper inserts and flyers.

- Monitor vendor performance and take photos of installed materials for reporting.

Lead Handover & Coordination

- Submit collected leads to the admissions coordinator.

- Coordinate home visits or callbacks with parents.

- Attend daily sync calls with the branch team for updates.

Local Content Contribution

- Capture photos/videos from events or seminars.

- Share testimonials, quotes, or stories for social media promotions.

Tools & Reporting

- Maintain lead tracking sheets using Google Sheets or printed logbooks.

- Use WhatsApp for lead sharing and coordination.

- Share weekly activity reports with branch and Head Office teams.

Required Skills & Attributes

- Field marketing or sales experience (preferably in the education sector)

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Physically active and willing to travel locally

- Strong persuasion and public speaking skills

- Basic familiarity with mobile apps (WhatsApp, Google Forms, Camera)

Performance Metrics (KPIs)

- Minimum number of homes visited per week

- Number of student data collected from door-to-door

- Number of school seminars conducted per month

- Quality of leads handed over (conversion ratio)

- Visibility and upkeep of marketing materials

- Timeliness and accuracy of reporting

Candidates from Lonavala will be preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
