Role Overview: As an Assistant Manager in Marketing Analytics at MakeMyTrip, you will play a crucial role in solving complex marketing and business problems through advanced analytics and data science. You will work closely with the Marketing Insights & Analytics team to drive data-led decision-making and enhance ROI. Your role will involve translating ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches, conducting deep-dive analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver insights-led solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Perform day-to-day analytics on large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights. - Conduct deep root cause analyses using statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and time-series/comparative techniques. - Build automated data pipelines and workflows using SQL and Python. - Design, develop, validate, and deploy statistical models and machine learning algorithms (classification, regression, forecasting, clustering). - Collaborate with engineering teams to productionize models and ensure robust tracking. - Write optimized and scalable SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and data quality processes. - Develop reusable analytical frameworks, scripts, and tools in Python. - Create clear, automated dashboards and reports to convey insights to stakeholders. - Translate business problems into structured analytical approaches in partnership with product, marketing, operations, and leadership teams. - Provide data-driven recommendations to support strategy, experimentation (A/B testing), and continuous optimization. Qualifications Required: - Graduate from a reputed institute with 4-6 years of experience in analytics, data science, or consumer insights roles. - Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Python for data analysis. - Experience using data analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Mixpanel, or Google Analytics. - Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. - Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical rigor. - Proven track record of delivering business impact through data-driven insights.,
