Job Description

Role Overview: As a Market Research & Market Insights professional, your primary responsibility will be to conduct market research for MC, FMC, New Models, and Technology as per the plan. You will also be required to visit markets across India to capture trends, track short and long-term business strategies of other OEMs, and prepare insightful reports. Additionally, you will analyze new business strategies adopted by competitors and suggest action plans for the organization. Your role will involve preparing and analyzing new product launches by OEMs, as well as conducting consumer trend analysis using secondary data sources. Furthermore, you will support in developing product concepts aligned with the organization's plan and competitive strategies. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct market research for MC, FMC, New Models, and Technology - Visit markets across India to capture trends - Track short and long-term business strategies of other OEMs and prepare insightful reports - Analyze new business strategies of competitors and suggest action plans - Prepare and analyze new product launches by OEMs and conduct consumer trend analysis using secondary data sources - Support in developing product concepts in line with organizational plan and competitive approach Qualification Required: - BE/B.Tech degree with a minimum of 65% marks or equivalent - MBA preferred Additional Details: - Basic understanding of the automotive industry, vehicle segments, Indian customer preferences, and competitive landscape is essential - Familiarity with model development processes and timelines - Proficiency in MS Office tools such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel - Ability to conduct business portfolio and financial analysis of OEMs - Excellent presentation and communication skills - Self-driven, eager to learn, and result-oriented - Well-organized, highly motivated, and able to work cross-functionally - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Experience in managing and working with cross-functional teams - Ability to multitask effectively Specific Expertise for Functional Area: - Basic knowledge of emerging trends in product, body type, technology, and design - Understanding of vehicle segmentation, data analytics, and translating consumer preferences into technical parameters,
