Job Requirements

1. Exp-20+ Years experience in handling overall port Operation
2. Qualification – BSC-Nautical Science / BE-Marine
3. Job location- Bharuch, Gujarat

Key Responsibilities

Accident free Marine operations

· Vessel acceptance suitable to company in compliance with National / International Rules and Regulations

· Overall responsible for safe operations of jetty.

· Safety in Berthing / Un berthing of vessels Safe mooring / unmooring operations of vessels

· To ensure that there is no delay in company account to avoid demurrages.

· To ensure environment safety by smooth cargo operations from ship to shore without spillage.

·Economical Tug operations.

·Good co-ordination with all service providers and contractors for providing best and efficient services

·Advanced planning and timely dredging to maintain draft required for safe berthing and un berthing of vessels.

Statutory compliance of Marine Dept. Audit and Surveys

·Looking after statutory compliance by complying various statutory requirement of NSPC, ISPS, OPRC, GMB requirement, Custom, Immigration.

·Represent company during visit D. G. Shipping, MMD, GMB or any other official as required.

Documentation with various Bodies

·Ensure that all marine parameters are maintained as per the documented guidelines.

Communication Internal / External

·Ensure Internal as well as external communication to all concerned authorities by subordinates

Weather monitoring

·Plan the actions as per weather monitoring report.
