Manufacturing Quality Assurance Engineer

As an Experienced Professional (P2) in Manufacturing Quality Assurance at Hitachi Energy, your role involves defining and specifying activities, processes, and standards to meet quality requirements for manufactured materials, components, or products. Your responsibilities include: - Supporting management systems in quality functions like ISO14001:2015 & ISO45001:2018, and coordinating customer audits. - Planning and conducting Quality Management System Audits, Global Quality Assessment, and Customer Audits. - Following up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and coordinating Root Cause Analysis (8D etc.). - Defining Inspection Test Plans (ITP) based on contracts and relevant standards. - Coordinating functional tests with customers and preparing relevant reports for Final Acceptance Report (FTA). - Collaborating closely with other functions within Hitachi Energy such as Production, SCM, R&D, and Engineering. - Increasing supplier quality awareness and promoting a Zero Defect mentality within the supply base. - Leading and supporting suppliers in quality training and problem-solving methods. - Coordinating improvement projects related to Cost of Poor Quality & NCRs. - Ensuring compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Your qualifications should include: - Bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical engineering. - Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in quality. - Preferred knowledge and experience in the power transformer industry. - Practical knowledge of SAP QM, technical knowledge of relevant products in the power T&D industry. - High Voltage Test Laboratory knowledge is advantageous. - Practical knowledge in Lean production, Six Sigma implementation, supplier qualification, and production processes. - Valid driving license with no travel restrictions. - Proficiency in both spoken and written English language.,
