Manufacturing Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

Position will focus on realizing results through

• Create visual instruction for manufacturing assembly using standard ppt template and releasing into Manufacturing Execution System
• Collaborate with HVME team on build specific activities
• Report the progress of all the assigned projects to the HVME team, and will be accountable for delivering quality output to meet delivery milestones
• Understand and implement the best practices

Eligibility Criteria:

Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial/Production Engineering with minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience

or

Bachelors in Mechanical/Industrial/Production Engineering with minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience.

Mandatory skills and experience required to perform the job:

• Experience in creating Operations Method Sheets/Assembly Process Planning/Work Instructions for large assemblies
• Good understanding of Mechanical drawings and standards, Manufacturing Bill of Materials (BoM) Management, Engineering Change Management and Release process
• Demonstrated strong problem solving and decision-making ability while resolving build issues
• Experience in collaborating with cross functional teams (Manufacturing, Engineering, Production Planning, and Industrial Engineering) to improve products or assembly process

Desirable Skill:

• Knowledge of Semiconductor equipment, Capital Equipment industry and its manufacturing processes
• Experience in manufacturing shop floor
• Experience in Industrial Engineering
• Knowledge of DFX process (Design for Manufacturability, Cost, Assembly and Serviceability)
• Experience in virtual manufacturing/build
